We spent the morning in the gate and a bit outside the demarcation line, and the rest of the day scouting the bay for good locations for a boat based photo shoot. To make this day easier to write about, I’m going to split it into two posts.
This was a rare day on the bay for both the weather and the wildlife. Regretfully, one person didn’t show up for the day, so we were sailing short handed. The swell was running fairly high, and the wind was strong, making it hard to keep control of the boat and take pictures at the same time. We did our best to get pictures in the first half of the day, but we kept missing the shot.
